7/22 @ 2:30pm - Lunch with Laura!

After we put up our tents, John took us to the best showers in town.  They were at the Cherokee Middle School.  $5 for the shower and we pretty much had them to ourselves.  Once we were all showered, we ran back to our camp to hang our clean clothes to dry.
We then met up with Laura, a good friend of my mom's from college at University of Northern Iowa.  She and her friend Pam drove down from Spirit Lake to meet us for lunch in Cherokee.  We all had Pizza Hut buffets.  Good times and great to see her.  And she even made us little chocolate snack bars for dessert!  Haven't tried them yet, but I bet they are awesome!  Thanks Laura!
