Good morning! 8:00 am and my mom and I are meeting the boys for continental breakfast at 8:30 am. Check out is at 11:00 am, but I don't think I can convince them to stay here that long.
The bike club is leaving Mason City at 8:30 am and should be arriving here around noon or so. We need to have our tents and be all set up before they get here.
The bike club I am referring to is the North Iowa Touring Club. They are based out of Mason City, IA. My mom has been a member since 1991. We camp with them in the overnight towns and before we started bringing a driver, they would also transport our gear from overnight town to overnight town.
It rained here and thundered last night, so hopefully it has passed. Looks like 10% chance with highs in the 100's through Tuesday.
Now off to shower.
